Product Introduction
Introduction
Barley is one of the grains that has been used in livestock feed since ancient times. Barley has a higher percentage of energy and protein than corn. The nutritional value of barley depends on its variety, but usually its crude protein content is between 6 and 14%. The percentage is variable and compared to corn, it has more methionine, lysine, cysteine and tryptophan. High consumption of barley in animal rations with increased flatulence and risk of acidosis endangers the health of animals, and its consumption should be limited.
